Time for morning prayer. Can’t start a day without it. There are few people in the hall. Although many people came to our house of prayer last night, many refugees.
I begin to speak out loud:
– Of course, your first night in normal conditions, in silence…
Let’s just rest…
– No! We have all woken up, – I hear them answer. – We haven’t slept since 5 am. At this time we were awakened by enemy planes, the whistling of rockets and explosions of air bombs… So after 4 o’clock we can not sleep…
It is gratifying that their hearts are calming and melting.
Can you imagine? After damp, cold basements, no food, no water, finally a warm, safe place.
Then we read the Bible together.
Together, at these uneasy times during war we all have realized how important prayer is.
We sang a song about prayer, and together we raised our voices in prayer to Heavenly Father.
I saw that many had tears in their eyes, God’s peace had filled our souls…
– May God bless us all!
